Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor?s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Minimum of 3?5 years of experience in hotel housekeeping operations.
Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role will be an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in shifts and perform effectively under pressure.
Proficiency in English communication will be an advantage.
- Housekeeping Operations Management
Supervise and ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas in accordance with hotel standards.
Conduct room inspections and public area inspections to ensure quality and consistency.
Assist in planning and scheduling housekeeping staff in line with occupancy levels and operational needs.
- Staff Management
Supervise, support, and provide guidance to housekeeping staff and team leaders.
Train new employees and continuously develop the skills of existing staff.
Evaluate staff performance and report results to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Cost Control and Inventory Management
Control the use of supplies, equipment, and cleaning chemicals to ensure cost efficiency.
Monitor inventory of linens, uniforms, cleaning equipment, and guest room amenities.
Coordinate with the Purchasing or Store Department when replenishment is required.
- Coordination and Communication
Coordinate effectively with Front Office, Engineering, and other related departments.
Follow up and resolve room-related issues, such as maintenance defects and rush rooms.
- Standards, Safety, and Compliance
Ensure housekeeping operations comply with cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
Monitor staff compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and occupational health and safety regulations.
