Job Description: HR Generalist

Position: HR Generalist

Department: Human Resources

Reports to: HR Manager / Executive Director

Job Summary

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting day-to-day human resources operations with a strong focus on recruitment and hiring, HR administration, HR information system (HRIS) management, visa and work permit coordination, and employee training and development. This role works closely with management and employees to ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with company policies and objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Hiring

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, CV screening, interviewing, and job offer coordination
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documents
  • Support onboarding activities for new hires to ensure a smooth joining process

HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation
  • Support HR-related administrative tasks such as leave management, and employee announcements
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and company regulations are properly communicated and followed
  • Assist in handling employee inquiries related to HR matters

Human Resources Information System (HRIS)

  • Maintain and update HRIS data to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
  • Generate HR reports and summaries as required (e.g. headcount, turnover, leave reports)
  • Support HRIS improvements and system-related processes

Visa & Work Permit

  • Coordinate visa and work permit applications, renewals, and cancellations for expatriate employees
  • Prepare and submit required documents to relevant government authorities
  • Liaise with government offices, external agencies, and employees regarding visa and work permit matters
  • Maintain accurate records and tracking of visa and work permit status and expiry dates and ensure compliance with local regulations

Training & Development

  • Coordinate internal and external training programs for employees
  • Manage training schedules, attendance records, and training documentation
  • Support training needs analysis and employee development initiatives
  • Assist in evaluating training effectiveness and collecting feedback

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR Generalist or HR-related roles
  • Knowledge of Thai labor law and visa/work permit processes is an advantage
  • Experience using HRIS and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
