Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to independently oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations, ensuring smooth workflow, accurate documentation, and timely issue resolution. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage daily operations while supporting continuous improvement and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations, ensuring accuracy, smooth workflow, and timely issue resolution.

  • Manage daily operational tasks and maintain strong relationships with customers, overseas agents, suppliers, and co-loaders.
  • Lead and supervise the operations team while promoting a collaborative, high-performance work culture.
  • Handle nomination cargo, ensure complete documentation, data integrity, and provide timely, competitive quotations.
  • Work closely with internal and external sales teams to support business growth and identify new opportunities.
  • Execute directives from Management/Regional Manager and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor operational and cost trends; analyze data and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Support Business Consolidation cargo processes by coordinating with key stakeholders and strengthening workflow effectiveness.
  • Respond proactively to operational issues or emergencies to minimize disruptions.
  • Undertake any additional tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

What Will Make You Successful:

  • Diploma or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years' experience in logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
  • Familiar with key trade lanes and overseas agent networks, particularly in Asia, Africa, and Australia.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills, with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
