Compliance Manager (Fintech / Online Lending)

Location: Thailand (Bangkok preferred)

Employment type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to ensure our lending operations fully comply with Thai laws, regulations and internal standards. This role works closely with management, legal, risk, product and operations teams, and plays a key role in building a sustainable and trustworthy business.

Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance


• Monitor and interpret relevant Thai regulations (FPO, MOF, RD, DBD, PDPA, consumer protection, collections rules, etc.)


• Ensure company policies, products and processes comply with regulatory requirements


• Prepare / review compliance documents, internal guidelines and SOPs


• Coordinate with regulators when required (inspections, clarifications, filings, reporting) Policy & Governance


• Establish and maintain compliance framework, checklist and audit process


• Review marketing, lending, contracts, fees, disclosures and collection practices


• Identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions


• Lead internal training for staff on compliance and ethical standards Monitoring & Investigation


• Conduct regular internal reviews and sample audits of operations


• Track incidents, complaints and violations; propose preventive measures


• Work with legal team on investigations and remediation when necessary Reporting


• Prepare compliance reports for management and external stakeholders


• Support licensing, renewals and regulatory submissions as required

Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance or related field


• 4–7+ years' experience in compliance, legal, risk or audit (preferably fintech / lending / banking)


• Strong understanding of Thai regulatory environment in financial services


• Good analytical and documentation skills


• Strong sense of integrity, responsibility and confidentiality


• Able to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with management and regulators


• Language: Thai required; English is required; Chinese is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)


• Experience working with Ministry of Finance / FPO or financial regulators


• Experience in consumer lending, microfinance, PICO or collections oversight


• Experience building compliance systems or internal control frameworks


• Familiarity with PDPA, AML/CFT frameworks and complaint handling processes
