Purpose of RolePOSITION SUMMARY
The Sr Manager, Marketing (Thailand) and Category Lead for Run (APAC) is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing integrated brand, trade, and sports marketing strategies across Thailand. In addition to this, the role holds regional category leadership for Run in APAC, working cross-functionally to drive seasonal prioritization, craft compelling product storytelling, and elevate the category across markets and channels in line with global and commercial objectives.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead full-funnel marketing across multiple channels to drive business growth and enhance brand awareness, while ensuring alignment with global brand direction and standards. This includes overseeing campaign planning, consumer activation, retail marketing, and partner enablement. The role is tasked with making the brand locally relevant and emotionally resonant, translating global strategy into compelling local executions that build brand heat, drive traffic, and convert consumer intent into action.
Your ImpactESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Cross-Market Collaboration
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
- Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration across functions and geographies.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Direct to Consumer and Wholesale Channels, Merchandising, Digital, CRM and Creative to deliver cohesive go-to-market plans.
Market & Channel Oversight
- Develop and execute full-funnel, omni-channel marketing strategies for Thailand, working closely with local commercial teams to integrate brand and business objectives.
- Partner with regional and local stakeholders to review and elevate local marketing plans, ensuring alignment to global brand standards and market relevance.
Category Ownership – Run
- Own and lead the Run category marketing strategy across all markets and channels in APAC.
- Translate global category direction into regionally resonant stories and campaigns that inspire consumers and drive sell-through.
- Build alignment with regional and local teams to prioritize product stories and elevate the Run category across key moments.
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Drive the seasonal Go-To-Market process, ensuring alignment on priority stories, activation timelines, and cross-channel integration.
- Oversee campaign development and execution across paid, owned, and earned media – including digital, retail, social, influencer, PR, and event platforms.
- Ensure creative excellence and brand consistency across all consumer touch points.
Trade Partner Enablement & Performance Management
- Lead trade marketing plans with timely brand guidance, campaign assets, and activation support across key trade customers in Thailand to drive brand and commercial impact.
- Monitor marketing performance by campaign for key accounts, using insights to optimize strategies and improve ROI.
Budget & Business Management
- Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation across brand and commercial priorities.
- Track performance KPIs and deliver regular reporting to senior leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Contribute to long-term strategic planning and regional business growth through data-driven marketing leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITES)
- Strategic thinker with strong brand-building and commercial acumen.
- Experienced in leading across multi-channel environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Confident and creative campaign leader with an eye for storytelling and executional excellence.
- Collaborative leader who can inspire and develop diverse teams.
- Agile and resourceful with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Passionate about sport, performance lifestyle, and regional consumer culture.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of marketing experience in regional roles, preferably in running, sports or consumer goods.
- Minimum 3 years of team leadership experience.
- Proven track record in building and executing omni-channel marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with working key sporting goods accounts and land lords is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of Thailand's diverse consumer landscape, media channels, and cultural context.
