Job Description:

The Software & Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software and automation systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency, minimize errors, and support data-driven decision-making. The role includes managing MES systems, developing IoT and network solutions, supporting process improvement initiatives, and contributing to both hardware and software development for production optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development & Maintenance

• Design, develop, and maintain software systems related to manufacturing processes.
• Develop applications using technologies such as VB.NET, Python, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, React, HTML, CSS, and
• Maintain, monitor, and optimize the MES system.
• Implement full-stack development solutions to improve operational efficiency.

IoT & Automation Systems

• Design and develop end-to-end automation systems using IoT devices (sensors, robots, NodeMCU, Raspberry Pi, Jetson board).
• Implement IoT solutions to enhance operational capabilities and solve production problems.
• Design big data databases to collect, analyze, and utilize data from IoT devices.

Networking & System Administration

• Design, implement, monitor, and manage local area networks (LAN).
• Ensure network performance, address server downtime, and design LAN network infrastructure.
• Evaluate algorithm performance, hardware specifications, and resources for implementation.
• Machine Learning & Data Analysis
• Design end-to-end workflows from model architecture, data acquisition, model training, to deployment on hardware.
• Analyze data and provide recommendations to optimize production efficiency.

Mechanical & Electrical Design

• Design electronic circuits and create wiring diagrams.
• Design 3D printing models using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other CAD software.
• Build prototype models to support automation and production processes.
• Process Improvement & Reporting
• Lead process improvement projects to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Evaluate and analyze problems, and report solutions to relevant stakeholders.
• Propose improvements to manufacturing processes and support implementation.
• Prepare and submit work reports, issue summaries, and recommendations to Production Manager in a timely manner.
• General Responsibilities
• Participate in meetings with related departments to communicate updates and align on departmental goals.
• Maintain compliance with company and departmental regulations.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards continuous learning and work effectively under pressure.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in web application development, IT development, or software engineering.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server).
• Experience in database integration and connectivity.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, PHP, and SQL.
• Skilled in web development using HTML, CSS, and relevant frameworks.
• Knowledge of electronics, IoT devices, automation systems, and networking systems.

• Strong analytical and systematic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and IT-related skills.
• Effective communication skills in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Willingness and ability to work at Lopburi Province (if required).
• Positive attitude towards continuous learning and innovation.
