About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef for Russian and Georgian cuisine to join our team at Georgian mother' in Phuket. This full-time position is a unique opportunity to showcase your culinary talents and passion for authentic Russian and Georgian flavours in a vibrant and growing hospitality business.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare and cook a variety of Russian and Georgian dishes to the highest standard
2. Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and overseeing food preparation
3. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop new menu items and enhance the customer dining experience
4. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold our high standards of food quality and presentation
5. Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Chef specialising in Russian and Georgian cuisine, with a strong understanding of traditional cooking techniques and flavour profiles
2. Excellent culinary skills, including knife handling, food preparation, and plating
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and multitask effectively
4. Strong team leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing junior staff
5. Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
6. Fluency in English, with good communication skills
