Business Development Manager

Drive business development and market expansion for **microbiology** and culture media products, focusing on **industrial sectors**such as Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, and Manufacturing.
- Collaborate closely with regional and internal teams to align commercial strategy, product roadmap, pricing, and ensure successful product launches.
- Understand customer requirements, workflows, and pain points to propose tailored microbiology solutions and value-added offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, laboratories, and decision-makers; support sales pipeline development and account penetration.
- Lead strategic planning, marketing, and promotional activities including seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and industry collaborations to strengthen brand positioning.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and relevant regulatory standards; provide market intelligence and strategic insights to management.
- Prepare business development plans, forecasts, and regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and growth opportunities.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related life sciences field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Product Management within microbiology, laboratory solutions, or related industries.
- Experience working with industrial customers (Food & Beverage, Pharma, Cosmetics, Manufacturing) is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of culture media, industrial microbiology workflows, QC/QA processes, and environmental monitoring is an advantage.
- Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English.
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage key accounts effectively.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently; experience in regional or multinational environments is a plus.
