Oversee the cleaning and maintenance activities which includes public area (dining area, hallways, offices, restrooms etc) in order to ensure safety, hygiene and comfort of the clients and employees
- Oversee the housekeeping/ ground keeping and external service vendor (laundry) to ensure that the housekeeping and laundry initiatives meet the company service standard
- Conduct and document routine facility inspections and evaluations (e.g deep cleaning, pest control etc)
- Work closely with Operations Manager to manage and attends to all client inquiries, feedback and complements with promptness, courtesy and efficiency while ensuring optimal client satisfaction
- Lead, motivate and develop the housekeeping team so as to achieve the department’s objectives
- Work closely with Operations Manager on developing training plans and appropriate materials to train the team to deliver consistent top-notch service standards
- Responsible for ensuring that the sanitation and hygiene policy complies with the established standards and requirements/ regulations and are always adhered to
- Complete additional administrative duties that include: inventory and productivity reports (daily, monthly, seasonal) when required
- Inspect the client rooms (unless prohibited) and all areas of the company daily to ensure cleanliness and security standards are met
- Complete monthly supply inventories and purchase supplies
- Attend and participate departmental meetings to review new procedures, client satisfaction scores, and solicit input from employees
- Report any unusual occurrences or requests to Operations Manager immediately
- Participate in the event or special projects as assigned by Operations Manager
