Req ID: 115063 Remote Position: Hybrid Region: Asia Country: Thailand State/Province: Chonburi City: Laem Chabang As part of the Celestica Global Logistics and Trade Compliance team, this position reports into the Senior Manager of Global Logistics, supporting Celestica Sites, Regional Management, Customers and Global SCM functions. The key responsibilities for the position are: - Key logistics project liaison with supply chain management and customer teams to develop logistics solutions - Operational escalation support to customers and sites as required - Engage, sometimes lead contract management with regional Logistics suppliers - Support and project lead initiatives for logistics savings, service improvement and reporting - Assure Compliance to all Global Logistics & Trade Compliance policies, procedures including contract terms - Support all areas of Global SCM on product transfers and customer demand logistics scenarios - Drive Logistics Development, Expertise & Education in Region - Ability to work independently The travel requirement for this position is < 10%. Education Requirements: MBA / University degree or equivalent specialty degree in International business, supply chain management or Logistics related. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies: - In-depth knowledge and understanding with relevant Logistics experence in International and Asian regional transportation, warehouse management and understanding of key concepts of trade compliance - Understanding of global supply chain management, distribution methods, and global transportation services and inventory management. - Broad knowledge of an electronic manufacturing environment, materials and processes. - Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills. - Strong communication and presentation skills - Significant skills required in multi-tasking and time management - Speak in English and Thai Fluently Celestica is an equal opportunity employer.
