Risk Management Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement the organization’s risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
- Identify and assess potential risks across all areas of the company, including operational, financial, strategic, compliance, and reputational risks.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize the likelihood and impact of identified risks.
- Establish key risk indicators (KRIs) and monitor risk trends to proactively identify emerging risks and implement appropriate controls.
- Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to ensure that risk management practices are integrated into business processes and decision-making.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on risk management practices and promote a risk-aware culture throughout the organization.
- Develop and maintain risk registers, documenting identified risks, risk ownership, control activities, and mitigation plans.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management activities to senior management and the board of directors.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in risk management to ensure compliance and enhance risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support risk assessments and audits.
- Collaborate with insurance brokers and carriers to manage the organization’s insurance programs and ensure appropriate coverage.
- Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation.
- Develop business continuity plans and coordinate disaster recovery efforts to ensure the organization’s resilience in the face of potential disruptions.
- Assist in the development of risk management-related policies, guidelines, and training materials.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CRM, CERA, or FRM are desirable.
- Proven experience in risk management, preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and frameworks.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and evaluate complex risks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to influence and drive risk management initiatives across the organization.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools and software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Knowledge of insurance and business continuity planning is a plus.
