The Role

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Primary Teachers to join our team for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is an exciting opportunity for educators who are looking to make a significant impact in a school that is still establishing itself and evolving.

Position: Primary Class Teacher

Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor Honours Degree in Education or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the United Kingdom curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in an international school setting is advantageous.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in children.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving school environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire and motivate children.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with English as an additional language.
- Assess, monitor, and report on children's progress, providing constructive feedback to foster improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and ethos.
- Promote a positive and safe learning environment, encouraging good behaviour and respect among students.

FSB International School (FSB) is the expansion of the 24-year-old International Pre-School, The First Steps. We are a fully inclusive co-educational school for children aged 16 months to 11 years of age and at capacity is expected to educate 700 children. Building on the ethos and values of The First Steps, FSB prides itself on being a community centred school where each student is known as an individual.

Located a short walk from Asoke and Phrom Phong on Sukhumvit 31 in the very heart of Bangkok we provide an exciting, engaging and challenging curriculum supported by exceptional pastoral care and a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities. Such an all-around education enables each individual student to make excellent progress, achieve their full potential and above all to enjoy coming to school.

The curriculum will be augmented by our commitment to providing rich opportunities for personal development through a wide-ranging and high-quality programme of extracurricular activities inside and outside the formal classroom.

The newly purpose built School will offer brand new classrooms which will be large and airy, together with a range of indoor and outdoor play areas allowing plenty of space for students to learn and grow.

Modern teaching materials, which include access to laptops and tablet devices, will ensure our students are provided valuable opportunities to learn skills using the latest technology whilst still benefiting from more traditional resources and our superb library.

Extensive sporting facilities will open in 2022 which will include an all-weather artificial grass football pitch, 25-meter covered swimming pool, large sports hall and dance studio. Such exceptional facilities will ensure FSB stands out amongst other schools in central Bangkok in providing the very best facilities for our students.

Our music room will provide student with a dedicated space where they enjoy specialist music lessons. It is also where our Music ECAs will meets regularly to practice and prepare for performances.
