**Your day at NTT DATA**

This role provides tactical supervision and management in the supply, operation and maintenance of technology within the business whilst contributing to the fostering of a collaborate and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.

**What you'll be doing**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates the execution of the IT strategy ensuring alignment to the overall business strategy.
- Ensures that network equipment, hardware and software, services meet the business requirement.
- Participates in the strategic technology planning of the organization ensuring that strategic and high impact technologies are utilized to ensure its competitive positioning.
- Assists with the identification of emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated and introduced within the infrastructure and ensure that the company stays current and competitive in terms of infrastructure and services.
- Implements and maintains technology policies, standards and procedures manual and the related technology checklists and provide written technology policy guidance to direct reports
- Manage the continual functioning of mission critical operations and assists with the planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluation of the operations of the information systems.
- Develops the skills to manage and lead a team of junior IT team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative team cultures focused on operational excellence.

- Methodical and analytical with some knowledge of project management principles.
- Exhibits sound and accurate judgement and logical reasoning, demonstrating a positive and proactive attitude.
- Working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
- Displays understanding of network architecture and client/server technology.

**Academic Qualifications and Certifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Service Management, Scaled Agile are beneficial.

**Required Experience**:

- Moderate level of experience working in IT operations, preferably within a global IT services organization.
- Entry level of experience leading and managing an IT team.
- Moderate level of experience working as part of an Agile team, using Agile principles and methods.
- Moderate level of business experience (particularly experience gained within the fields of project management, technical support, systems programming or computer operations) would be beneficial.
