Sr. Material Planner

**Job Summary** The Materials Planner is an active team member in planning and scheduling the delivery of material from suppliers. This highly tactical position is responsible to monitor the flows of buy items, guarantee availability of components to avoid material shortages and production downtime, as well as to manage inventory levels to meet our customer service and inventory targets. **Responsibilities** - Maintain supplier and material item lead time master information lead time - Manage suppliers’ delivery and quality and ensuring problems are resolved timely to ensure continuity of supply to production - Monitor and track material status, provide shortage report and escalate for critical material - PPV management - Plan and ensure optimal inventory levels and inventory turns, including but not exclusively to - risk-buy analysis (Long L/T, sole source) - maintain up-to-date ABC analysis - material MOQ analysis compare to demand - determine and maintain safety stock - inventory re-deployment (common part sharing, aged material) - ECO/ECN management (material disposition) - Manage MRB (Material Review Board) - Any tasks or responsibilities assigned by manager **Basic Qualifications** - Graduate Bachelor's degree for BSC, Beng, Mathematic, Statistic, Logistic Engineer, Industrial Engineer - Good English speaking listening reading writing is preferred (TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC) - TOEIC score >600 **Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements** Fully site based with occasional trips to supplier where needed **Key Competencies** - Considerable knowledge of industry related supply base - Experience and knowledge of materials planning and systems; such as Kanban and JIT systems - Strong written and verbal communicator, able to communicate to internal and external audiences - Team oriented, must have the ability to work cohesively with others. - Detail-oriented and self-motivated, able to work with mínimal supervision - Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
