Accounts Payable Lead

We are looking for a passionate and experienced AP Lead to join our Finance team and oversee accounts payable operations for Thailand and Vietnam.

What You’ll Do

As AP Lead, you will oversee the full Procure-to-Pay (PTP) cycle, including travel and expense reimbursements and treasury activities. You’ll be the primary point of contact for banking relationships and accounting service providers while ensuring effective collaboration across departments.

Your Role at a Glance:
- Oversee Accounts Payable Operations: Manage end-to-end AP processes, including invoice validation, tax compliance (WHT, VAT), payment scheduling, and transaction approvals in line with accounting policies.- Lead and develop the AP Team: Supervise a team of three, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide coaching to support growth and efficiency.- Ensure Compliance and Audit Readiness: Maintain strong internal controls, prepare audit documentation, and support both internal and external audit requirements.- Generate Financial and Tax Reports: Prepare reconciliation statements, cash flow forecasts, and tax reports such as Input VAT and WHT submissions. Collaborate Across Functions and Vendors: Coordinate with Treasury, Supply Chain, Tax, and Controlling teams, and respond to vendor inquiries and third-party accounting partners (TMF and GT).-
- Oversee Banking Relationships: Serve as the primary contact for banking partners including BBL, HSBC, BOA, and Citibank in Thailand.

What You’ll Bring to Us:
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy; CPA certification is a plus- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable or finance within multinational companies, including experience in supervisory role- Proficiency in SAP with a solid command of English for both written and verbal communication- Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards, tax regulations (WHT, VAT), and compliance practices- Skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Concur and Ariba is highly desirable- Proven experience supporting internal and external audits; background in audit firms is an advantage- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills, with the flexibility to work across time zones and outside standard business hours during critical periods
