Plant Manager

Our client is a distribution in pharmaceutical business in Thailand.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Providing direction and leadership for plant operations including Extraction of Cannabis, Manufacturing of final products, Packing, Quality Operations, R&D, Materials Management, Technical Services, Engineering, and EHS.
- Establishing workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity.
- Developing and executing operating plans that lead to the achievement of the company goals.
- Being able to adjust output capacity, and flexibility according to the uncertain situation.
- Supervising the preparation of operating procedures and related documents to define methods, criteria, and requirements related to production, engineering, and R&D work under the quality system.
- Being responsible for managing the production budget and plans to maximize profitability.
- Reviewing the overall production processes and procedures to ensure they operate at the highest possible efficiency.
- Reviewing operations performance and triggering corrective actions and improvement.
- Managing accurate inventory and ensuring proper storage of received raw materials /API /excipients and finished products.
- Managing engineering functions to ensure the safety, capability, and efficiency of facility/utilities and equipment.
- Developing and maintaining an effective organization through effective selection, training, leadership, and management.
- Developing and supporting operational excellence across all functions - including continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
- Ensuring ethics and integrity through compliance/risk management.
- Creating, establishing, and maintaining an environment that encourages teamwork, empowerment, and commitment.
- Communicating any problems or obstacles to senior management.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing pharmaceutical products, or cosmeceutical products.
- Knowledge of PIC/s GMP and quality requirements related to pharmaceuticals including ICH, and ASEAN Guideline.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001), Occupational health and safety management systems (ISO 45001), and environmental management systems (ISO 14001).
- Knowledge of extraction of phytoactive compounds from herbal plants.
