Overview:

- The External and Internal Communications Manager is in charge of amplifying and reinforcing PepsiCo APAC’s external reputation and critical narratives via a thought leadership strategy that is supported by our Excomm’s spokesmanship. In that role, this individual will also lead communications, sustain collaborative relationships with relevant media and digital platforms to further ensure positive coverage of our business leaders and collaborate with global, regional and OU teams to deploy spokesmanship as needed. The Manager translates APAC’s strategic priorities to internal comms strategies for Asia Business Unit, and through a deep knowledge of the business, ensures that our associates are protected, aligned, and engaged via new communication fora and platforms. The Manager will observe regional or global internal campaigns alignment and adapt sector campaigns as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Partner up with global and local Corporate Affairs teams, and sector functions to develop APAC Sector external communication (communications materials, media enquiries, incident management, corporate storytelling, digital channels) and Asia BU internal communications strategies (town halls, institutional internal comms strategies, newsletters) and speaking engagements (presentations, multimedia, scripts, talking points, and executive perspectives)
- Manage TH/VN ExCom members external speaking engagements.
- Lead certain sector-wide external communications projects for APAC, particularly where there is an expectation of significant executive engagement
- Own APAC-wide input for CA communications reports, as relevant
- Strategic development and oversight of the Asia BU Internal Communications agenda in support of PepsiCo strategic priorities: impact measured by employee survey
- Lead the communications to Asia BU staff (and where appropriate, externally) for all communications of change projects in from APAC to Asia to ensure the changes to how the business will work, and the journey of bringing about those changes, are understood, that staff feels engaged and inspired by the changes to perform their new roles in line with the PepsiCo transformational agenda.
- Counsel and coach leaders and communications colleagues on Internal Communications programs and best practices.
- Design and implement communication documents such as company profiles, internal newsletters, etc.
- Ensure the availability of full Internal Communications tools and materials

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications, or another related field
- Great English level. Extraordinary writing skills as well as able to communicate and understand Thai Language
- Minimum of 8 years of communications experience with knowledge and working experience with journalism, internal communications, and executive communications
- Ability to work through organizational complexity and under pressure
- Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
