**To Manage NPLs / Impaired Loans **. The following are to be done:

- Work on the given portfolio of accounts
- Review and analyze courses of action
- To initiate legal action by liaising with Litigation Department and/or outside solicitors as necessary
- Contact borrower for discussion of debts repayment
- Propose restructure/rescheduling/bankruptcy related program for approval
- To Follow up on recovery proceedings if under litigation

**To ensure adequacy of provisions**:

- Work on the given portfolio of accounts to ensure sufficient provision is set

**To deliver results, including but not limited to**:

- Timely preparation of management approval paper upon receipt of all necessary information
- Timely submission of information/reports to management on a monthly and/or as when required
- Ensure proper maintenance of credit files and security documents
- Negotiate best terms with borrowers to maximize returns to the Company
- Participate actively in meetings with borrowers, other lenders and management of the Company as well as CIMBT
- Conduct visits to customers’ premises for immediate assessment as and when necessary
- Attend court proceedings or hold discussions with the relevant professional firms, consultants or attend meetings of co-lenders with the aim of solving the NPLs / Impaired Loans
- In respect of sale of collateral charged, to ensure company shall get maximum value in return
- Provide support to other departments within the Company as and when required
