As a Hostess in our luxury hotel bar, you will be the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for an exceptional experience. You will greet guests warmly, manage seating arrangements, and ensure the bar area maintains a refined and welcoming atmosphere.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Guest Experience & Seating**:

- Greet guests with a warm, professional demeanor and determine party size.
- Escort guests to clean, available tables; assist with seating and present updated menus.
- Guide guests through the bar and lounge areas, offering assistance as needed.
- Organize seating for special needs or group arrangements, ensuring comfort and accessibility.

**Bar Area Presentation**:

- Ensure all place settings include clean napkins, polished silverware, and standard items.
- Check menus for cleanliness, accuracy, and availability; replace any damaged or outdated copies.
- Maintain cleanliness of hostess station and surrounding areas throughout the shift.

**Monitoring & Coordination**:

- Monitor seating availability and guest flow to optimize service efficiency.
- Communicate with bar staff and servers to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Observe guest safety and comfort, addressing any concerns promptly.

**Operational Standards**:
**Professional Conduct**:

- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and security protocols.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management immediately.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to uniform standards.

**Communication & Teamwork**:

- Use clear, courteous, and professional language in all interactions.
- Answer phones with proper etiquette and assist with reservations or inquiries.
- Foster positive relationships with team members and support shared goals.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- Move, lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Rearrange tables and chairs as needed for guest comfort and group seating.

**Additional Duties**:

- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors to support bar operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
