As part of the APRIL Group, an insurance specialist with 3,000 staff members in 20 countries, we are dedicated to simplifying insurance and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
To sustain the company's growth and expand our services, we are currently looking for an **Accounting Officer**.
Main Job Responsibilities
- Export and verify purchase invoices from the system.
- Check accuracy and calculation of discounts and foreign currency conversions
- Act as the key accounting contact person for local providers
- Preparation of payment vouchers and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Recording bank payments in SAP Business One
- Preparation of weekly accounts payable reports, and assisting in month-end closing and reporting
- Maintaining general ledger for our related company in Singapore including:
- Recording purchases invoices and outgoing payments to SAP Business One
- Calculation and posting of month-end accruals and prepayments
- Preparation of Withholding Tax certificates
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and other related balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide supporting documentation for supervisors and external auditors
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in general accounting
- Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Solid understanding of Accounting Standards and Tax Regulations
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
- Experience with SAP Business One is a plus
