The SCB TechX Technology Evangelist role targets to enable and empower individuals to become the next generation of leading technologists in the bank. Through a mixture of On-the-Job training, knowledge sessions, experimentation and self-improvement, you will have the opportunity to deepen your skills and understanding and get certified in the potential areas that are essential to working in fast-paced and ever changing environment as part of an Innovation Lab:

- Cloud architecture and platforms (AWS, Azure, Google etc.)
- SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) and PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service) offerings
- API Management
- Big data and analytics
- DevSecOps (CI/CD) and various SDLC models
- Architecture blueprinting
- Experimentation on new technology stacks (e.g. AI ops, event-driven stacks, blockchain)

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and experiment on new technologies and SaaS/PaaS (Software/Platform-as-a-Service)
- Experiment on new technology stacks and conduct self-driven research
- Create MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) that are backed with business use cases
- Create automated and scalable cloud environments through Infrastructure-as-a-Code
- Facilitate design thinking and innovation workshops with business and technology stakeholders
- Optimize delivery processes and decrease time-to-market through iterations and lean development

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years of experience in designing and developing APIs
- 2 years of experience in services in any cloud provider
- Understanding in DevSecOps such as Jenkins, Ansible, Serverless, etc.
- Understanding of microservice architecture and service management
- Understanding in any docker technologies such as Kubernetes, Mesos etc.
- Experience in the areas of blockchain (e.g. Hyperledger, Corda, Ethereum), event-driven architectures or cloud operations is a plus
