About the role:
The role will be required to carry out regular reviews of all digital products in APAC and suggest improvements to directly impact overall product conversion. This role will also be responsible for designing campaigns, working closely with campaign managers and local marketing executives to ensure new brand propositions are brought to life through graphic design.
**Responsibilities**:
- Works with local product, sales & marketing teams to identify demand and then justify these improvements to global teams in order to secure resource to deliver
- Works with all APAC marketing teams to ensure that web assets are created and deployed in the appropriate format and of the highest quality possible
- Works closely with the digital product management team to deliver improved UX/UI across APAC sites including Indonesia/Vietnam
- Work closely with campaign managers and local marketing specialists to deliver visually appealing assets that encourage engagement and increase conversion
- Requests and obtains creative assets and collateral from different sources, and ensures that they are delivered in a timely fashion to guarantee projects are delivered on time
- Ensure the customer experience considerations are at the heart of all design work.
- Accepts creative input from business owners and works to accommodate into their work.
- Ensures that all key stakeholders in the project are kept informed of progress, with drafts distributed, validation milestones met and completed work supplied to specification and timescales.
- Optimise designs and assets based on metrics and insight from Analytics teams. Use measurement to track effectiveness of designed solutions.
- Maintains and updates web pages and/or marketing templates as per the requirements of business stakeholders
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of creative solutions and production processes
- Ensure efficiency of processes, continuously improve production methods and clarity of communications
**Requirements**:
- Experience owning a digital product and a proven track record of improving commercial metrics attached to that product such as conversion rate, revenue, profit etc.
- Practical and demonstrable experience of designing web pages and forms for commercial or transactional websites.
- Experience working product management teams to deliver enhanced UX/UI
- Must be able to create code using the following tools and languages
- HTML & CSS (html 5, css3, Less, Bootstrap)
- Photoshop
- Dreamweaver
- JavaScript / jQuery
- Meticulous approach, giving proper attention to detail to deliver high quality work.
- Knowledge of multi device and responsive design
- Understanding of SEO principles
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Up to date knowledge of advances in computer technology and how this affects the business environment
- Self-starter with the ability to identify new opportunities to help meet the overall objectives and work closely with technical teams to understand opportunities and constraints of digital disciplines.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise daily workload whilst working accurately under pressure; adjusting and modifying at short notice
- Excellent communication and networking skills with an ability to work in a Global Team environment with colleagues from many different departments with shared responsibilities across regions / time zones
Desirable:
- Experience working in APAC markets
- Experience of Adobe Analytics, BICC and SAP
- Experience of PHP, MySQL, XML, XSLT
- Experience of working in a global organisation with a matrix structure
