As a Commis Chef you will assist with the kitchen operations, servicing the Restaurant, Events. You will report to the Chef de Cuisine who oversees Japanese kitchen operations.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Prepare and cook high quality food
- Helping to create good communication between FOH and BOH
- Keep the kitchen organized and clean
- Supporting the Chef de Partie and other chefs with their duties, sometimes rotating stations to assist various chefs
- Safely operating, maintaining, and overseeing the proper use of kitchen equipment
- Assisting with the plating and presentation of dishes to meet hotel standards
- Complying with health codes, food safety, and hygiene standards at all times

**Qualifications**
- Hold relevant Certificate cookery qualifications and previous experience in a similar role
- Have knowledge about Japanese Kitchen
- Have knowledge and understanding of HACCP
- Be flexible to work a range of different shifts, including weekends
- Be able to work under pressure within a dynamic team environment
- Be self-motivated and able to work without supervision
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
