SEA Home Care Process Excellence Manager

Work Level: 2B

Location: Unilever House, Bangkok, Thailand

The HC SEA Process Excellence Manager is responsible for:

- Leading the performance management for HC SEA Integrated planning, driving performance against target and ensuring continuous improvement in forecasting methods and techniques. Leveraging best practice across all country within SEA.
- Owning reporting matrix within IP for standardization and simplification for SEA consolidated scorecard for IP
- Owning the end-to-end planning process including finished goods and material planning and ensure best practices are being implemented across HC in SEA
- Driving the cash (Inventory) and Business waste target for SEA HC with Local IP by introducing structural programs to optimize working capital and inventory, as well as structural programs to minimize waste as well as liquidate obsoletes.
- Support continuous delivery of service targets by for total SEA with co-ordination with country IP
- Leading the digitization agenda for Homecare IP and landing new initiatives and tools in line with Global roll out and ambition.

Key Accountabilities

The role reports to the SEA HC IP Director and is a member of the Planning Leadership team in the BU. In addition to ensuring smooth operations and best practices in the Planning function, the role is also responsible for ensuring that Planning Strategy is sufficiently developed to meet IP and SC ambitions, and that it is executed. This is carried out in close liaison with the Planning Director and extended Supply Chain Leadership Team.

Principal Responsibilities
- Ensure activities within each Planning pillar are delivered, coordinated and impact is maximized.
- Identify, drive and own strategic projects on behalf of the planning director and SC leadership team.
- Ensure excellent planning practices are connected, made visible and spread.
- Develop tools, processes and ways of working to professionalize the execute the Planning Strategy and support the Planning Transformation.
- Communicate Planning purpose and successes within UL to drive recognition of value, and work life balance
- Key business metrics (as defined in the strategy) delivered (e.g. Service, Inventory and Waste).
- Digital Initiatives landed in line with global roll outs.

Key Skills Required
- Engineering/Economics/Finance degree or equivalent
- Project management skills
- Strong communication, influencing (verbal and written) and networking skills (inter personal and planning)
- Analytical, financial and business management skills
- Financial skills in creation of strategic business case for change
- Knowledge of the extended SC and how it works

Key Knowledge
- E2E supply chain knowledge understanding and credibility across Plan, Source, Make and Deliver.
- Experience of working in a planning environment or supply chain related function.
- Evidence of delivery via influencing.
- An “outside-in” mind-set.
- Ability to work effectively with a number of cultures and without supervision.
- Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships, lead and deliver results through virtual networks.
