Senior Fund Manager

**Responsibilities**:
**Manage fixed income investments** across mutual funds, private funds, and provident funds. Perform due diligence on fixed income investments in accordance to the investment process, in order to effectively execute the job to achieve target performance. Liaise with other departments for client meetings and marketing activities.
**Your day will be filled with**
- ** Construct fixed income investment portfolios**, with regards to investment objectives of the client, and manage investments according to the process to ensure consistency of analysis and buy/sell discipline to achieve required performances
- ** Conduct research** on local and global macroeconomic conditions, and form investment recommendations on the potential impact on the fixed income investments
- Prepare meeting materials, including presentations for both internal and external meetings
- Participate in client pitches, performance review meetings, and marketing events
- Perform other related tasks and special projects that may be required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience actively managing fixed income investment portfolios, or exhibiting equivalent experience from related industry.
- ** Fund Manager license is required.**:
- ** Derivative Fund Manager License is preferable.**:
- Knowledge of a variety of fixed income instruments, as well as possessing business acumen, analytical abilities, and a total return mentality for trading and investments in fixed income
- Must possess strong leadership quality, self-initiative, and ownership mentality towards both daily responsibilities and special projects
- Must be a broad strategic thinker and demonstrate an understanding of economic and investment theories.
- Proficiency in Advanced Statistics, Econometrics, and/or Quantitative Analysis will have priority in consideration.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder or a clear progress toward the designation is preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
- Proficiency in programming skills such as VBA, MatLab, and Python is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under a dynamic business environment.
- Ability to comfortably use English as a means of communication within a global company.
