**Key Responsibilities**:
**Product Testing**:

- Manage and prioritize test requests to the Essilor Quality Center (EQC).
- Review test results, ensuring alignment with applicable standards and specifications.
- Authorize and publish test reports to the requesting parties.
- Uphold impartiality and compliance with the EQC network’s Code of Conduct.
- Oversee participation in inter-laboratory comparison programs within the EQC network and with third-party accredited testing laboratories.

**EQC Laboratory Management**:

- Organize and monitor team activities, ensuring efficient operations.
- Align laboratory operations with the Global EQC plan, securing necessary tools and equipment for testing and data analysis.
- Implement quality control tools and intra-laboratory comparison programs to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and facilities, including safety protocols and risk prevention measures.
- Ensure laboratory team comply with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and accreditation requirements.
- Align laboratory practices and management with Global EQC objectives.

**Hierarchical Management**:

- Assess tester competency regularly and provide necessary training and development opportunities.
- Conduct annual performance reviews and interviews to evaluate team performance and growth.

**Performance Criteria**
- Ensure Accuracy and validity of test results, timely authorization and publication of correct test reports.
- Proper maintenance and functionality of laboratory equipment, with regular risk and opportunity assessments.
- Continuous improvement in the management of laboratory resources.
- Achieve and sustain key EQC KPIs, focusing on strengthening and maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation scopes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in laboratory testing management.
- Strong expertise in laboratory metrology and comprehensive knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and people management skills.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of Essilor products is a plus
