You are a seasoned UX designer with a keen interest in helping other designers grow and develop. You probably speak Thai and you are looking for new opportunities at the intersection of experience design and digital commerce.
We have a strong 10-person design team that has grown beyond the capacity of K. Ja — our sole Design Manager. We now need someone like you to help her instruct, mentor, and coach fellow designers in all things experience design and research. Challenge
You’ll be accountable to customers and peers alike. Your main challenge will be one of balance:
**Client Work**: You will spend 60% of your time actively delivering client work. You’ll typically take on the role of UX Architect which means you will spread your time across 2-3 projects at a time, helping to structure and support work done by senior and associate designers.

**Internal Work**: You will spend 40% of your time doing internal work. Most of which will be spent in the role of Squad Lead that will see you attract, select, and motivate fellow designers. Motivation is key and it’ll require that you find time to instruct, mentor and coach. Opportunity

Impact (Customers) - As a UX Architect, you’ll have the opportunity to profoundly impact our customers projects. We’d look to you for help in deciding on design strategy and approach, as well as to structure and implementation of design systems etc.
Impact (People) - As a Squad Lead, you’ll have the opportunity to profoundly impact the work and careers of your fellow designers. They will look to you for guidance and support in terms of how they can achieve mastery and fulfillment in their chosen fields.
Personal Growth - Like all MAQERs, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to get involved and help run the business. This is optional. But you can teach, deliver initiatives, and create new products and services. You can even start and run your own business unit. Requirements
At MAQE, we don’t particularly care about age, gender, ethnicity, or education, etc. But we do care about attitude and ability. If you can do the work, we’ll count ourselves lucky to have you. That said, we think the following items might be helpful
Lots and lots of experience designing digital products
Digital commerce experience is nice to have
Fair amount of experience managing design teams
Coaching certificate is a nice-to-have
Excellent English-language communication skills Thai language skills are a huge bonus
