The Learning Support Teacher must have a strong understanding of how to nurture children and develop them academically when they may find aspects of learning more of a challenge. Skills and experience in identifying and assessing additional needs, establishing individual learning plans, providing 'push-in' and 'pull-out' support for individuals and small groups of students and in supporting teachers with differentiation strategies is essential.

Teachers with a **Humanities and/or PSHE** background is essential.
