Software Tester

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to identify software defects and issues.
- Record and document test results, track defects, and communicate findings to the development team.
- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce, debug, and resolve identified defects.
- Participate in test design and test strategy discussions to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Use various testing techniques and tools to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing methodologies.
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of testing procedures and practices.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the user experience and overall quality of the software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality software releases.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of testing environments and test data.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of testing activities.
- Continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge in software testing and quality assurance.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Knowledge of manual and automated testing techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and defect tracking systems.
- Experience in creating and executing test plans and test cases.
- Proficiency in using testing tools, such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar tools.
- Solid knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document software defects accurately.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and result-oriented mindset.
