- Coordinates the installment of safety devices on new buses prior to signing the contract.
- Conducts joining orientation to ensure that all new drivers understand the expectations of the role and that the school’s rules, regulations and policies are communicated prior to joining.
- Organizes termly training sessions for drivers including coordinating external speakers where appropriate and arranging trips to promote team spirit and inter-department cooperation.
- Conducts regular random checks on vehicles and drivers (e.g. driving skills, alcohol testing) and takes appropriate disciplinary action on any contraventions of policy.
- Coordinates the administration of driver details, official vehicle documentation (insurance, certificate of car condition inspection) and any driver correspondence to ensure that records and files are kept up to date at all times.
- Acts as the key point of contact between the Transport Department and drivers on any matters affecting their day to day activities and general employment.
- Perform any other duty as may be required and agreed with the supervisor.

- Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience in this field.
- Ability to work under pressure
- MS Computer literate with extensive knowledge of excel.
- Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills.
- A role model and a team player.
