**About the role**:
The IT Analyst - R&D plays a critical role in supporting the digital transformation of the Research & Development function. This role serves as a key interface between the R&D teams and IT, ensuring that technology solutions are effectively aligned with scientific and innovation-driven business needs.

**Your responsibilities**:
**1. Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement**
Serve as the key link between R&D scientists, product developers, and IT teams. Gather and translate business needs into functional specifications. Facilitate workshops and process mapping to identify digital opportunities and close operational gaps across global and regional R&D teams.

**2. Application & Systems Support**
Provide support for R&D digital tools such as Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), formulation platforms, and analytics systems. Monitor performance, resolve incidents, and ensure compliance with industry standards like GxP and FDA 21 CFR Part 11.

**3. Project Delivery**
Contribute to the full lifecycle of R&D IT projects, including upgrades, integrations, and new implementations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery, manage user acceptance testing (UAT), and support change management and training efforts.

**4. Data & Insights Support**
Work with data teams to enhance access to R&D data through dashboards and self-service analytics. Promote data quality, consistency, and alignment across platforms to support informed decision-making.

**5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation**
Champion digital transformation by identifying process improvement opportunities using emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, IoT, and automation. Stay current with R&D IT trends and proactively introduce innovative solutions to the business.

**The experience we're looking for**:
**Essential**:

- 2-5 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst or IT Support role, ideally within an R&D or scientific environment.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods sectors.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Exposure to cloud-based R&D tools (e.g., Sample Manager, Integration manager, LabWare, Infor Optiva,).
- Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and cybersecurity in an R&D context.
- Additional certifications (e.g., CBAP, ITIL, Agile, PMP) are a plus.

**The skills for success**:

- Strong understanding of R&D processes in product development, formulation, clinical, or regulatory contexts.
- Experience with systems like ELN, LIMS, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), or scientific data management platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
