Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Responsibilities** - Supporting delivery of a lean, responsive, and resilient material and services flow for the facility from source to dock and additional required points. - Recognizing the potential for cost and inventory reductions, and quality improvement, as well as responsibility for soundness of business proposals and risk assessment. - Operating and monitoring the supply network procurement functions to meet the defined response time, cost, quality, and lean targets enabling optimal and efficient facility operations. - Collaborating with business partners and suppliers, and resolving facility specific supplier issues. **Degree Requirement** Degree or equivalent experience desired **Skill Descriptors** **Supplier Performance & Delivery Management** - Drive improvements in local and overseas Supplier Shipping Performance. - Monitor and respond to material Miss Per Unit hits caused by the supplier. - Drive reduction past due delivery **Production Support & Material Availability** - Ensure timely material availability to support production when get escalated. - Drive velocity initiatives to improve supplier lead time. **Process Optimization & S&OP Alignment** - Lead actions to improve the Velocity Pain Index and overall supply chain responsiveness in procurement responsibility. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain functions. **System & Data Management** - Maintain and update data in required procurement system. - Ensure accurate and timely system data to support supplier performance tracking **Supplier Relations & Issue Resolution** - Resolve supplier commercial issues, including past due payments and invoicing discrepancies. - Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations. Level Working Knowledge: - Follows procedures in carrying out routine supplier management tasks. - Uses electronic systems or tools to record/retrieve supplier information and carry out transactions with suppliers. - Resolves routine supplier issues; escalates non-routine issues up chain of command. - Researches alternative vendors or suppliers; participates in supplier selection. - Works with suppliers to ensure that purchases meet delivery date and quality specifications. **Process Management**: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
