**Role Purposes**
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support English language teaching and learning. You will assist teachers and learners in the classroom, provide ongoing support to students and parents outside of it, and help ensure the smooth running of our programmes. This role also contributes to the British Council’s mission of promoting cultural relations through education.
**Accountabilities**

In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of the action—supporting our instructors in the classroom, helping young learners stay safe and focused, and creating a positive, nurturing environment where English learning can thrive.
Your day will be filled with meaningful moments: guiding students during lessons and breaks, preparing fun and effective learning materials, and even running clubs and reading programmes that spark curiosity and confidence. You’ll also play a key role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, from handling admin tasks to supporting school events and promotional activities.

**Qualifications & Experience**
**Essentials**
- University Degree or equivalent
- 6 months of working experience with childrenIT skills and knowledge (e.g. use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
