Continuous Improvement Manager

Our client is a leading manufacturer of liquid and chemical materials.
The Continuous Improvement Manager will take responsibility for managing the following:
- Actively coordinating the engagement of the factory staff in the BLACK Blet/MBU/LEAN/TPM process.
- Assisting and coaching the factory team to manage & improve the manufacturing performance according to the methodology recommended.
- Supporting the site leadership in improvement project idea generation, project chartering, action planning, and implementation.
- Leading problem-solving efforts to improve quality and eliminate waste in all areas throughout the manufacturing areas.
- Being responsible for driving Lean, Quality management, and Manufacturing Continuous Improvements - both in operations support and with manufacturing technology development.
- Coordinating regular self-assessment audits by the factory team, of the systems used to ensure compliance to the standard.
- Monitoring, reporting, and providing comments on the monthly OE savings achieved compared to the annual target.
- Conducting regular staff training in Operational Improvement methodology to maintain focus on achieving a low cost highly efficient operation.
- Coordinating the introduction & training for any new Industrial Performance company improvement initiative.
- Following up on all additional assignments from management.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Industrial/Mechanical/Production Engineering or any related field.
- Strong Manufacturing background and Lean management experience / Knowledge in Lean Six Sigma preferably as a Black Belt and/or Lean Master is a plus.
- Strong background in training and experience in Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively and interact with personnel of all levels of management and technical ability and expertise.
- Excellent problem-solving skills using multiple disciplines; able to work under deadlines and handle multiple and detail-oriented tasks.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in driving programs and projects.
- Capacity and work experience with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with new plant setups or business expansion will be an advantage.
- Experience in developing, tracking, and managing complex project timelines.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
