**Data Science (Senior) Officer**:

- PTTEP Services Limited**Key Accountabilities**:

- Interact with the initiative leader and team to understand all data requirements, and translates into data structures and data model requirements to IT function
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
- Define criteria for monitoring integrity of data modelling during projects
- Drive data modelling and testing during projects
- Carry out quality assurance of analytics tools & methods used in projects
- Develop best practices for analytics including models, standards, tools
- Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality
- Track impact of analytics on business
- Work with IT function and project leader providing technical guidance related to data architecture, data models, and meta data management

**Professional Knowledge & Experiences**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, statistics, or operations research or related technical discipline
- 5-10+ years’ experience in statistical and/or data science role
- Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development
- Experience using analytical tools and languages such as Python, R, Matlab, PowerBI, Spotfire, or SQL-like languages
- A drive to learn
- Experience working with large data sets, simulation/optimization and distributed computing tools
- Knowledge of industry and ability to translate business needs into data
