Pastry Chef

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the pastry kitchen team, ensuring smooth operations.
Develop and execute creative dessert menus aligned with Shangri-La’s quality standards.
Oversee daily pastry and bakery production for all outlets, banquets, and special events.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
Monitor inventory, manage orders, and minimize waste.
Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (HACCP).
Train and develop pastry team members, fostering a culture of excellence.
Collaborate with Executive Chef and other culinary teams for menu planning.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Head Pastry Chef, or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine-dining establishment.
Culinary degree or professional pastry certification is preferred.
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, chocolate work, and sugar art.
Ability to create innovative and visually appealing desserts.
Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
Passion for quality, creativity, and excellence in pastry arts.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Fluent in Thai; English communication skills are an advantage.
