Country Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a supply chain leader for all businesses in the country, you will represent the Southeast Asia Supply Chain director in leadership team, aiming to support the regional team in managing resources in delivering sustainable results.

You will be acting as an owner of the country’s supply chain processes - from customer support, integrated planning, distribution & transportation to customer feedback (complaints & warranty). You will contribute to regional strategy formulation and execution as country expert.

**Main responsibilities**
- To drive The PPG Way culture at every level of the organization
- To drive a strong performance culture within the supply chain function by defining SMART KPIs, through frequent performance follow-up communications, investing in training & development and implementation of consequence management
- To spearhead the supply chain strategy implementation by focusing on improving customer service performance, accurate demand forecasting, sustainable inventory management, speedy delivery of products & services and striving to achieve cost competitiveness.
- Establish strong working relationship with regional supply chain functional leads to ensure best practices and performance drivers are communicated, monitored and guided to achieve best in class results
- To support manufacturing capacity planning to ensure optimal management of backlogs and timely fulfilment of customer orders in accordance to purchase orders.
- Actively engage with other supporting functions such as finance, legal, purchasing, technical specialist, 3rd party service providers (contract manufacturers and distribution & transportation) to minimize supply chain disruptions in terms of inventory health, invoice payments, mode of delivery and contract management.
- Demonstrates continuous improvement mindset to enhance operations and manufacturing cycle-time, streamline work processes and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- To support business expansion by evaluating product localization, optimized delivery to customer and effective material sourcing
- Be a role model and conduct day-to-day business to the highest compliance, code of conduct and EHS standards
- Be an active voice of regional supply chain initiatives during country leadership meetings

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 8-10 years managerial experience with extensive experience in working with matrixed organization and delivering quality results.
- Proven capability in managing stakeholders with significant influencing ability at all level in the organization
- Strong business and commercial knowledge / competence. Experience in supply chain management is an added advantage
- Knowledge of and experience from chemical / paint industry are advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Possess at minimum bachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics management, Science and/or Business Management.
- Working competence with SAP or Oracle is desired
