Job Detail
Key Accountabilities:

- Sourcing activities include but not limited to identification and qualification of new suppliers and / or technology for more competitive pricing and / or reduce production lead time.
- Purchasing activities include but not limited to issue and closing of Purchase Orders, ensure timely deliveries and quality parts from suppliers and optimize inventory in anticipation of sales to customers and at same time maintain the department goal set for inventory turns for the assigned commodities.

Job Descriptions:

- Provide professional, purchasing and sourcing support for key business initiatives, supply market research / intelligence to support business. Identification of strategic sourcing opportunities and development and management of strategic suppliers is a key.
- Achieving greatest value contribution, benefit realization and efficiency from all procurement activities and ensuring fulfillment of joint goals with internal business partner by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price and service
- Specialize in strategic sourcing and market/trends of metal in order to reduce costs and ensure quality of supply as needed by the business.
- Develop/upkeep component unit cost databases with the use of advanced big data tools if necessary, to establish cost transparency and understand market developments
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with, and develop deep understanding of key business partners’ interests and concerns
- Ongoing risk evaluation and setup of mitigating measures where needed incl. supplier risk assessment.
- Develop lasting and win-win partnerships both with established suppliers.

30,000 - 50,000 (THB)

Required work
experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher.
- Age between 28-35 years old
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience in procurement.
- Working in an international, matrixed environment
- Cross-functional mix in sales, engineering, operations or project management
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) is a must.
- Fluent in English and good intercultural competency
