Build/Implement Data Governance practice in PLT. This a critical role in data transformation roadmap. The Enterprise Data Steward is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the data governance policies and procedures to ensure the quality, security, and integrity of the organization’s data assets.
- Assists with establishing and continuously develops the Data Steward capability ensuring key business areas are properly represented in the Data Stewardship community.
- Streamlines Data Stewardship processes and workflows to increase efficiency.
- Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements.
- Develop and maintain the data governance framework, policies, standards, processes, and roles.
- Coordinate and support the data owners, the data custodians, and other data stewards in their data governance activities and ensure alignment with the data governance framework.
- Promote / Provide guidance & training on data governance culture, best practices, tools, and methodologies including awareness and communication materials across the organization.

Conduct data governance assessments and audits and ensuring compliance with data regulations and policies.

Defining and maintain the enterprise data dictionary, data catalog, data lineage, and business glossary including Identifying and documenting the enterprise data sources, data flows, data transformations, and data dependencies
