We are part of the APRIL Group, a global insurance specialist with 2,300 staff in 16 countries.
To sustain the company’s growth, and expand our services, we are currently looking for a **Regional Direct Sales Team Leader**
You will actively chase and convert leads while supporting your team. Leading by example you will develop April’s Direct Business in Asia on the individual and SME’s segments.
Being a Direct Sales Team leader will allow you to

You will act as Sales Champion and team leader. You will develop sales and drive revenue growth, while enhancing your team’s skills through coaching and training and fostering a strong sense of teamwork and belonging.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Learn from our Global Direct Sales model and tailor it for the Asian market, considering the unique aspects of the International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI), our organisation and the cultural specificity.
- Pursue B2B opportunities targeting qualified contacts and fostering strong partnerships.
- Proactively seek and develop opportunities to engage with prospects at events and through referrals in the expatriate community in our main hubs.
- Coach and motivate your team to enhance their sales capabilities and deliver a top-tier experience to prospects. Manage daily operations, including individual and team coaching, activity monitoring, efficiency reviews, and team challenges.
- Celebrate individual achievements and foster a culture of appreciation.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Direct Sales in Paris, providing detailed reports on sales performance, including key performance indicators of lead processing, conversion rates, as well as the performance and achievements of the sales representatives.
- Provide feedback on the ongoing improvements of the tools (Salesforce, phone system, messaging tools,)
- Anticipate challenges and adjust processes to facilitate ongoing pipeline growth.
- Demonstrate resilience and flexibility to overcome obstacles and adapt strategies to address challenges
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree
- A proven sales experience with a track record of successfully identifying and closing new business opportunities.
- Fluent in English, knowledge of French would be a plus
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example, willing to roll up sleeves and dive into sales challenges
- Strong management skills to inspire and direct a regional sales team, fostering an environment of growth and achievement.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a pragmatic and hands-on approach to Sales
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
