This role is instrumental to the achievement of our objectives and aspiration through the delivery of market leading direct marketing and digital enablement solutions. Key to our success will be the deployment and optimization of best practice multi-channel and multi-product marketing for acquisition, growth and retention programs inclusive of the elements necessary for their enablement - building telemarketing capabilities, greater digitalization of our business across the end-to-end customer and partner experience. This would be inclusive of ownership, execution and continuous enhancement of our customer engagement strategy across all channels.

Financial

Manage the development, implementation, and validation of predictive analytics (regression, decision trees, optimization and other advanced machine learning techniques) to support marketing programmes, including response, lapse and customer experience.
Implement segment and customer level measures of customer value. Collaborate with actuarial and finance teams as required. Employ LTV measures to prioritize acquisition, cross-sell, and retention efforts.

Campaign Management

Build media mix models to guide decisions on marketing spend to take advantage of product and channel synergies.
Work with direct marketing colleagues to design and conduct statistically valid tests along with appropriate implementation, tracking and analysis of results.
Share key learnings and best practices from the above analyses with marketing managers and senior management.
Develop operational workflows and business cases to define future state of analytically-driven process revisions and associated benefits. Set standards for repeatable data management processes to support campaign tracking, reporting, marketing, analytics and CRM.
Define processes to codify and automate analytic processes, measure results/impact.

Analytics & Data Management

Build new capabilities in the Thailand market to support digital first acquisition campaigns while building a roadmap for omni channel distribution that leverages outbound and inbound telesales capabilities.
Attend to data issues from source systems to the data warehouse.
Ensure that data usage complies with data privacy regulations and company standards.
Develop and maintain data marts,and put all data to work for the business opportunity.
Set up a standardize data model across the multiple front-office and back-office databases
Improve existing data model and define the actuarial/UW factors into database to support the business digitalization and automation, to reduce the cycle of the new launch.
Increase the storage efficiency and maximize performance when building out the data warehouse.
Support other lines of business in personal insurance assigned by direct manager.

Leadership

Act as business owner for the customer data warehouse. Provide requirements to IT to ensure the data warehouse continues to meet business needs, including the integration of new data sources and provision of data marts.
Champion a culture of proactively managing risk, continuous improvement, action and accountability.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERTISE

Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in statistics, mathematics, analytics, engineering or similar numerate field.
5-7 years’ relevant experience in financial services.
Expert in statistical analysis including techniques for predictive modelling, classification, segmentation, experimental design. Experience with analysis for online channels a plus.
Competency in analytics software and methods, in particular R or Python. Familiarity with relational databases, SQL programming preferred. Competency with data visualization and business dashboards, Tableau preferred.
Ability to partner with and influence a variety of staff across functions and levels: marketing management, underwriting, actuarial, operations, systems, and senior management.
Familiarity with direct and digital marketing processes and common commercial data sources.
Experience contributing to data warehousing design and usage from a business owner perspective.
High level of communication and influence skills
Ability to work effectively across business functions via collaboration skills
Good communicator to work with regional and local businesses and partners.
