- Cost Analyst-Manufacturing (50K-70K) (SDG-104313)

- Responsible for plant level costs and control including cost accounting, bill of material and cost analysis
- Support month-end close and special projects as requested
- Work closely with manufacturing to understand issues and how they impact the financial results as well as educate/inform department(s) on cost drivers and variance
- Act as liaison with plant, as required
- Develop standard costs both new and existed
- Determine the cost of purchased or manufactured products
- Draw up the budget plant cost
- Analyze the variances between actual and standard costs/prior periodsincluding of margin by product
- Provide support to Costing, SSC and Finance analyst team to reach monthly closing deadline.
- Study and explain plant performance (e.g. capacity, utilization, price variances, consumption variances, technical variances, subcontracting)
- Prepare the forecasted and analysis reports (management, profitability)
- Monitoring and reviewing cost deployment models to liaise with plant for operational initiatives (e.g. WCM)
- Supporting plant and logistic on loss assumption analysis and project tracking
- Inventory management control
- Analyze and control inventory including of monthly tracking report, aged stock, etc.
- Monitor and follow up CAPEX projects and spending
- Review internal control relating to inventory and costing process
