**Job Summary
You should be able to create smart copy that is easy to digest, draws a reader in, and compels them to act. Together, we will develop innovative and inspiring copy for marketing campaigns that will impact the local market, the region, and beyond.

As a copywriter, you are expected to have a wealth of experience in all areas of copy creation - creative writing, media communications, social media, blog writing, and ad copy, just to name a few. SEO knowledge is a boon, scriptwriting is a plus, and UX writing is a bonus.

You will report to the Content Lead based in Singapore Headquarters and will support them in operations and efforts across Qashier’s global expansion.

As a member of the Content Team, you will work with a best-in-class regional marketing team that includes the Head of Growth Marketing, Country Marketing Managers across the region, the Performance Marketing Division, and a team of Graphic Designers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Uphold the integrity of Qashier’s vision and key beliefs to empower over a million SMEs in today’s digital economy.
- Work closely with **Regional Content Lead**, to curate a unique brand language and verbal identity that is adaptable to the local market.
- Work directly with the **local Country Marketing Manager**, to support the local market and the regional marketing team with copy that sells.
- Translate and localise content for your local market. Suggest and produce content to fill content gaps as needed.
- Manage local and regional projects and complete them within deadlines.
- Stay at the top of your game - keep yourself updated with new tech, market trends, and
- Technical skills that will push the needle.

**Requirements**:

- A desire to be a part of the startup life.
- Diploma/degree in a related field.
- At least 3 years experience as a copywriter or content writer.
- Perfect command of English and your dominant local language is imperative - must be able to confidently produce and localise copy in both languages.
- Able to develop content that sells to local small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
- Proven track record of creative writing. Experience in building a verbal identity is a plus.
- Experience producing video content is **essential**:

- scriptwriting, narrative direction, managing
- timelines, etc.
- Social media-savvy individual. Having produced viral content is a bonus.
- Strong English communication skills is a must. Be able to share ideas and experiences concisely.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with influencing and negotiation capabilities.
- Good time management skills, including prioritising, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
- Bring to the table your experience working with/for creative/media agencies or a related department.
