The Costing and Plant Accounting Manager is responsible for the cost accounting function for Thailand business and will also be responsible for the plant accounting function of Ban Khao Din and Banglen plants and supervising the accounting team at the plant. This position will also be responsible for monitoring the capital spending for the Thailand business.

Core Responsibilities
- Monitor & Control Costing Month-end closing process, Analyze & Find out the root cause of Product Costing variance, such as volume variance and spending variance. Review costing process to make it aligned and efficient. Review and verify General Ledger (GL) for Cost of Goods Sold/Production (COGS) and inventory position and working capital impact.
- Review General Ledger (GL) reconciliation such as accrued expenses, Advance, Prepaid expenses, Vat, and Withholding tax which associate to COGS for Ban Khao Din and Banglen Plants and support plant accounting team to deliver monthly results. Supervise and groom the plant accounting team at Ban Khao Din and Banglen plants to run the smooth process at plant accounting. Support Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) on analysis of monthly/quarterly/annual results.
- Devise monthly analysis report comparing actual manufacturing cost with budget and forecasting. (Manufacturing Cost Analysis), Review BOM (Bill of Material) and Production routing as required and engage with planning team and update the impact of planning on the costing analysis. Plan physical stock take of inventory for audit and cycle counts along with the Logistic team.
- Monitor the capital spending and support engineering team with reports to track spending. Follow up on project completion, write off plans and physical stock take of fixed assets schedule.
- Assist FP&A during budget season to prepare and update manufacturing budget/forecast with all assumption. Forecasting MFG expenses, Production Yield, Material Consumption, Plant Utilization and Cost Saving opportunities as necessary for Goal/LE.
- Support internal audits when taking place at plants and ensure internal controls in the area of operation. Attend Plant Management Meeting and Costing Review to proactively provide the actual results and analysis as appropriated.
- Support on tax and BOI matters relating to plant activities.

Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, or related. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferable
- Experience in Costing preferably in a manufacturing environment
- & years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 3 years supervisory experience required
- Good knowledge in SAP system
- Good command over spoken and written English.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel (i.e., pivot tables, macros, charts and graphs).
