Head of Human Resources

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Human Resources to work for a leading regional logistics and shipping company has arisen.

As the Head of HR, you will strategically lead and direct a responsive, effective, and professional HR function. You will lead group-level human resources activities and oversee HR functions across multiple Southeast Asian countries. Responsibilities will include:

- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with the company’s mission, values and growth plans.
- Lead and manage the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment onboarding, training and development, performance, cultural engagement and offboarding.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure the attraction and retention of top talent.
- Drive employee performance and development through effective coaching, training, career planning and talent management initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.
- Collaborate with leadership to understand and address organisational challenges, providing strategic HR insights and recommendations.
- Provide HR support and guidance to the senior leadership team.

Personal requirements:

- A senior HR generalist with experience working in the shipping and logistics industry
- International HR experience is a must; experience working with Thailand and across Southeast Asia is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
