Responsible for driving business growth and expansion through identifying new opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and developing sustainable initiatives related to water, power, renewable energies, waste management, energy management, etc.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis to identify market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities within each sector, including new projects, partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansions.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for business development in alignment with company goals.
- Conduct financial analysis and feasibility assessments for new business opportunities, evaluating investment returns, risks, and profitability to inform decision-making.
- Lead the development of proposals, bids, and presentations for new business opportunities, outlining value propositions, technical solutions, and commercial terms.
- Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, technology providers, and financial institutions, to leverage expertise and resources for business growth.
- Collaborate with the project development team to support the identification, evaluation, and development of new projects, providing market insights and business development expertise.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
- Monitor business development activities, track progress against targets, and report on key metrics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in business development practices.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related fields; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, or strategic planning. Experience in the energy or utility sector is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of the utility industry, including regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
- Outstanding strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong networking, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative mindset.
- Good command of English. Ability to work with multinational teams and clients.
