Technician, Laboratory

**R**esponsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to**:

- Performs testing and analysis of lubricants, greases, fuel oils and raw materials according to specified procedures and test methods as well as in compliance to laboratory quality management system.
- Monitors and supervises QC activities by analyzing statistical process control data on control samples and takes any necessary corrective measures as required.
- Develops and implements initiatives for best laboratory practices to enhance laboratory productivity and competency.
- Responsible for requirements related to maintaining accreditation including support on internal and external assessment for ISO 17025, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and IATF 16949.
- Carry out reliability of quality control process for equipment verification/calibration/maintenance works as per laboratory procedures and work instructions including troubleshooting minor equipment malfunctions and help to implement approved solutions.
- Be able to work under pressure from assigned tasks and operational uncertainties.
- Ensures compliance with company’s HES principles regarding to safe working practices, hazardous chemical waste disposal.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) or higher in Chemistry or related field
- Having 1 - 5 years’ experience in oil and gas laboratory
- Good knowledge in ISO17025, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and IATF 16949
- Good written and verbal skills in English
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong OE, and We Lead behaviors
- Amenable to working on shifting schedule
