**Position Summary**:The Manager, Corporate Supply Chain directs, manages, and oversees four global Supply Chain centralized functions; Strategic Sourcing, Inventory Management, Logistics, and Information Systems / Analysis. Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. Interacts with internal customers and upper management to ensure that all requirements are being met. Applies extensive knowledge in the field of supply chain management concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience, ingenuity, creativity, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs this function without appreciable direction and is given considerable latitude in directing projects and assigning staff.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Global Strategic Sourcing
- Directs the Strategic Sourcing effort within the company;
- Directs the company Alliance Management Program;
- Directs the successful implementation of completed sourcing efforts;
- Directs the publication of metrics that tracks savings realized through adoption of sourcing programs.
- Ensures that staff is properly trained.
- Establishes corporate procurement policies and procedures and ensures their implementation
- Global Inventory Management
- Directs global inventory control initiatives including cycle count analysis, physical inventories, and returns or liquidation of surplus inventory;
- Directs the efforts associated with determining obsolete inventory;
- Directs the publication of metrics providing meaningful reporting of inventory levels, shrinkage, turns, fill rate, and compliance to internal customers;
- Directs the management of item master activities;
- Supports establishing inventory levels by studying supply usage patterns and forecasts; supports setting reorder points in partnership with operations personnel;
- Manages the right sizing company inventory levels; Leads global initiatives related to optimizing total corporate inventory.
- Directs the publication of key departmental metrics for inventory management with staff and management;
- Directs the oversight of inventory accuracy through continued analysis, metrics and driving methodical process improvements;
- Directs compliance with Inventory Management Procedures and SOX Compliance;
- Ensures that staff is properly trained
- Global Logistics
- Directs the development and management of sourcing plans for various transportation market segments (LTL, TL, small package, import/export, ground, air, and water shipments) servicing of the Company’s global operations;
- Directs the tactical management of all international shipments and inbound freight;
- Directs the efforts associated with compiling and analyzing pricing, technical, statistical and other information; along with the development of service metrics and carrier scorecards.
- Information Systems & Analysis
- Directs the analytical support for all supply chain initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Directs the continuous improvement of the Oracle business system.
- Requires employee to constantly type and use a computer and other office equipment, such as copier, printer, calendar, telephones, etc.
**Preferred Education**
- Minimum requirement is for an undergraduate degree in a business related field. Preferd Engineer

- 10+ years of related experience with a minimum of 5 years in a management role.
