Technology Demand and Capacity Analyst:
**Job Description**:
BACKGROUND

Within the Technology function, the Infrastructure & Cloud team manages the continuous availability and evolution of LSEG on-premise, in-cloud and hybrid infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determine the vision and strategy for Product, Data Centre capacity management, in close partnership with senior technology stakeholders
- Influence and communication at a senior level, across LSEG including Technology, Business divisions and Finance; as well as being culturally aware,
- Drive continuous governance, improvement, and integration of best practices for technology resource usage.
- Take action to halt costly, unjustified infrastructure usage practices when identified. Intervene with operations, engineering and proposition teams as required to achieve this
- Manage technology partners and 3rd party vendors for provision of services
- Ensure the infrastructure requirements are incorporated into all Growth and Transformation.
- Develop and mature modelling to enable forecasting and scenario-planning for the future-state hybrid operation of LSEG technology
- Assist Technology Infrastructure & Cloud teams and Finance to gather CapEx and OpEx cost of ownership of capacity solutions, and assist and provide input for appropriate budget and financial planning
- Responsible for proactive capacity trending analysis, hosting monthly forums with Application Service owners; providing recommendations for future growth

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Solid track record of delivering a governance and control function, using insight and business-focused analysis to stakeholders at multiple levels of a technically complex and dynamic organization
- Experience of supporting multiple business initiatives in an environment of conflicting priorities, and brokering solutions across multiple stakeholders
- Familiarity with network technologies, vendors, and service providers
- Knowledge of Business Case & Project Portfolio Management delivery processes and control gates

- Ability to thrive in a technically complex and fast-changing environment, and to respond calmly and rationally to changing aspirations in a deadline-driven situation
- The ability to manage experienced analysts, technologists, and technology partners, delivering across several work streams simultaneously
- Determination and focus to deliver key business outcomes for LSEG
- Good leadership, influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire multidisciplinary teams and build successful relationships at all levels.
- Good team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of people
