Our client is a speciality chemical manufacturer.

**Responsibilities**
- Managing and optimising overall logistics costs for outbound shipments.
- Freight Management: Liaising with freight forwarders and carriers to schedule shipments, negotiate rates, and monitor transportation arrangements.
- Documentation and Compliance: Preparing and reviewing export documents, such as business invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other essential paperwork. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and export control laws.
- Handling daily delivery plan reports.
- Coordinating with all related persons to achieve shipment loading plan (Warehouse, freight forwarder, shipping broker, transportation.)
- Booking the vessel space with the shipping agent.
- Checking and verifying Liner/Freight Forwarder's invoices for an export part, obtaining approval from the manager and forwarding to Finance for payment.
- Assisting in obtaining all required import permits and export licenses for all processes.
- Managing the day-to-day activities (deployment, routing, tracking etc.) of the vehicle fleet.
- Dealing with customers and stakeholders such as JWD, trucking companies, customs brokers and Internal parties.
- Evaluating and enhancing export processes continuously, identifying potential for efficiency gains and cost reductions. Proposing and implementing innovative solutions to streamline export operations and enhance overall performance.
- Truck arrangement. Responsible for planning and communicating with truck agents to pick up cargo on time.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Experience in Import and Export handling, and documentation.
- Coordinating with Shipping lines.
- Would be an advantage if they handled DG cargo.
